Symeon releases new single ‘Heroes’

Mixed with feel-good indie charm and soothing psychedelia, ‘Heroes’ is the summer-day set-play we’ve all been waiting for from London-born singer-songwriter Symeon. His second single of the year, the charming release has a festival sing-along styling made to put a spring in your step.

Discussing the release, Symeon explains:

“I made this song after getting my first proper taste of what people call ‘fandom’, and it honestly changed the way I look at artists. Growing up, I always saw musicians as something bigger or better than everyone else, but being on this side of it made me realise it’s not really like that at all. We’re all just people trying to make sense of what we’ve been through and put it into something honest.

This song came from realising that no one deserves more than anyone else and that ego can really distort the way we see each other. At the end of the day, we’re all just living our own lives in our own way, and if someone connects with what I make, that’s genuinely beautiful to me. But I’m no better than anyone listening to it.”

Off the back of his EP Heartbreak Station, Symeon’s musical journey has been one of moving consistently from strength to strength. Each track is carefully crafted, showcasing a new area of personal and creative growth.
