DELON releases deep, solar house journey with ‘TRACES’

French producer DELON unveils TRACES, a dancefloor album that looks inward while moving steadily forward. Built around deep, melodic and emotionally charged house music, the record explores not stories or memories, but what lingers after them.

Framed by its own central idea, “We are made of traces,” the album treats connection as something temporary yet persistent. Encounters dissolve, but something always remains. That emotional residue becomes the foundation of the record’s atmosphere: warm, introspective, and subtly melancholic.

Across twelve tracks, TRACES moves through a wide palette of house influences, from balearic warmth and organic grooves to deeper, more progressive textures. Voices from across the UK, Spain, North and South America and beyond are woven into the fabric of the album, turning it into a kind of emotional map built through collaboration. Featuring artists such as Liam Porter, Eliezer Murad, Alyssa Jane, Matt Sky and Estefa Silvera, the record feels less like a collection of features and more like a network of shared moments.

At its core, TRACES is dance music designed for reflection as much as movement. The rhythms remain grounded in club tradition, but the emotional tone often pulls inward, creating a gentle tension between physical release and introspective drift. It is house music with a human pulse, shaped by memory, distance and resonance.

DELON has long been associated with the French house and electronic scene, blending deep house, afro and indie dance influences into narrative-driven productions. As founder of the Way Of House label, he has released music on respected imprints including Get Physical, JAW, Rendez-Vous, DBMafia and Amulanga, and collaborated with Grammy Award-winning vocalist Jinadu. With TRACES, he refines that approach into something more unified and contemplative.

Rather than aiming for escape, the album leans into presence. It is club music that does not erase emotion but absorbs it, allowing each track to hold a different shade of connection. Some moments feel sunlit and expansive, others quietly nostalgic, but all are tied together by the idea that nothing truly disappears without leaving something behind.
