Made up of Dub Sonata and Alex Fitts, the pairing has come together to form Stolen Days, who unveil their ambitious single ‘Butterfly’. The single is cinematic and elegant, showcasing a huge amount of production prowess. Fusing Hip-Hop with modern dream-pop elements, ‘Butterfly’ is a brooding, moody debut.
“We tried our best to push each other creatively on Butterfly, using our individual production styles to come up with something unique” The duo explain, “The lyrics about change resonate with both of us a lot.”
The pair have previously worked with Kid Cudi, SZA, Sage Francis and R.A. the Rugged Man, with Alex Fitts being part of the project, The Kickdrums. Rather than relying on their impressive CV, Stolen Days let the music speak for itself. The result is a project that feels authentic, adventurous, and refreshingly unfiltered.
