An interview with 15 year old breakout singer-songwriter and producer Kaspr

At just 15 years old, Kaspr is a breakout singer-songwriter and producer carving out a sound that is entirely his own.

A natural performer with an undeniable stage presence, he channels his deep passion for music into every set, whether he’s commanding the room with high-energy dance tracks or moving the audience with a stripped-back piano ballad.

Kaspr’s musical journey started early; he’s been writing and performing original material since he was 11.

In 2025, he introduced his sound to the world with the debut single ‘Monster,’ followed in 2026 by his first full-length album, esc. —a vibrant, eclectic project that blends R&B, synth-pop, and dance. The album has already struck a chord with listeners, particularly the standout track ‘Second Option.’

‘m.i.a.’ sees Kaspr serve up an emotional tale as his pop lyrics flow alongside catchy dance beats.

A true creative force, Kaspr writes, produces, and experiments with his own arrangements, constantly pushing his sound in new directions.

His artistry is fueled by eclectic influences, ranging from the pop sensibilities of Charli xcx and Chappell Roan to the theatrical flair of Lady Gaga.

Beyond the pop stage, Kaspr’s musical foundation runs deep. He is a skilled multi-instrumentalist who plays both keyboard and guitar, and is a member of a respected choir.

‘I don’t wanna know’ features vibrant synth melodies, infectious beats and emotional vocals from Kaspr as he conjures up an outstanding dance track.

He is also a talented arranger, crafting unique versions of songs for diverse instrumental ensembles.

Currently, Kaspr is back in the studio building a new body of work for his second album. Whether he’s writing, collaborating, or performing, kaspr brings a distinctive musical voice, boundless energy, and a genuine, magnetic connection to his audience.

This is just the start of his journey and we can expect so much more from this British talent.

Kaspr took time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions for us:

1) When did your musical journey begin?

My musical journey started very young.

My primary school put on musicals every year and I was often in them but I didn’t start playing the piano until I was about 13, when I learnt how to do a grade 6 piece by ear.

Soon after that, I started writing songs on the piano. They were mostly ballads.

My sister had a copy of Logic Pro on her computer and I started playing around with that. I’ve been doing that for about two years and I’m now producing all my own music using Logic Pro.

I’ve also been teaching myself the guitar and working on my piano plus I was in a choir at primary school.

2) How did you get involved with Rising Voices?

I heard about TAM because my friend was performing there. I applied to perform alongside her at the National Lottery Everywhere All At Once gig and at that event I met Gemma who was organising Rising Voices and she invited me to perform there.

3) Are there any releases or events in the pipeline?

I am always writing new music. I currently have three songs that are nearly ready to release, but I am not sure which order they will be released in.

One is called ‘Lifeline,’ which is a ballad, the next is called ‘Busy Guy’ and is a pop song (which I’m currently teasing on TikTok).

I also have another dance/pop song ready to release called ‘The Concept.’

4) What are you currently up to when not recording in the studio or performing?

I am currently teaching myself how to DJ and I am doing my first set at a party next week.

Otherwise it’s summer holidays and relaxing or going to the beach in Norfolk or windsurfing.
