Moselle learned storytelling from the trees and creeks of Ozarks.
Growing up she loved both music and writing from the time she was quite small; always singing and writing little stories in notebooks.
Last year saw the release of ‘Little Bit Longer,’ which begins with a pleasant guitar arrangement and beautiful vocal harmonies from Moselle all of which keep us mesmerized to this catchy, quirky and heartwarming track.
Moselle used to write her own episodes of Doctor Who in middle school, hopefully those stay hidden forever.
Songwriting didn’t take hold of her until she heard ‘it’s alright ma, I’m only bleeding’ while walking around a record shop in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
It was all down hill from there really. It was then she became obsessed, first with Dylan then his contemporaries and eventually songwriting at large (Stephen Sondheim and Fiona Apple are two other juggernauts for Moselle).
The accompanying visuals have the same quirky and heartwarming aesthetic as the lyrics of the song.
