5 fresh tracks for New Music Friday

Happy Friday! In the overwhelming sea of new releases, we’ve picked out some of our favourites for you –  featuring All Tvvins, Orla Gartland, Professor Green and more. Here are five fresh tracks for new music Friday.

All Tvvins‘Infinite Swim’

Irish duo All Tvvins – aka Connor Adams and Lar Kaye – dropped their taut, synth-drenched banger ‘Infinite Swim’, from their forthcoming second album Just to Exist.

‘Infinite Swim’ is a tight, electro-synth beat which touches upon searing funk hook. Adam’s robust falsetto takes centre stage, building a phenomenal Metronomy-esque vibe.

Just to Exist drops early 2019 – in the lead-up, All Tvvins have two headline shows scheduled before the end of 2018. Check out the dates below.

27th October: Cork Opera House, Ireland

16th November: The Atlantic Bar, Portrush (Paul Taggart’s Slacker night)

Swedish Death Candy ‘A Date With Caligula’

Acid rockers Swedish Death Candy delivered a dose of nostalgic garage-punk with ‘A Date With Caligula’.

The new single, available on digital release through Hassle Records, masterfully weaves between smooth vocal soundscapes to fuzzy, heavy and psychedelic planes. It’s a tantalising look at what’s to come, with the London-based band currently in the studio working on the follow-up to their self-titled debut release.

The release comes ahead of their upcoming headline London appearance on 9th November The Lexington.

Professor Green ft. Rag’n’Bone Man – ‘Photographs’

Rag’n’Bone Man and Professor Green reflect on the past with their brand new collaboration Photographs’. The new track was premiered on Radio 1 by Annie Mac last night.

Speaking of the new track, Green said: “Photographs conjure up so many different emotions. The ones I miss the most are the ones I never took. They are for me, in many ways, the memories I don’t have – especially the ones from my childhood. I wish I had more.”

Orla Gartland – ‘Between My Teeth’

Dublin-via-London artist Orla Gartland returned this Friday with new single ‘Between My Teeth’. It boasts an infectious pop-melody that cathartically masks a darker, lyrically jarring topic.

Gartland, who initially made her name as a Youtuber, delves into the complexities of emotionally dependent friends, begging to not be leaned on but feeling too consumed by guilt to jump ship.

Orla Gartland kicks off a Europe/UK tour in November supporting Hudson Taylor.

Jamie Isaac – Fool’n’

London-based singer-songwriter Jamie Isaac delivers an intimate, swaying performance with the new track, ‘Fool’n’.

The two-track single ‘Fool’n’ ebbs and flows between 60’s slow jazz and the breath-taking swoon of Isaac’s smooth vocals.

The classically trained vocalist and pianist will be on tour across the UK this month – check out the dates here.
