Berlin-based duo YUPHORIC teamed up with MERON on new single titled ‘MOM’s Song’ and we got to premiere the music video release.
The duo is made up of producer Yuval Gantz and multi-instrumentalist Phøn (Ron Warburg). YUPHORIC is known for combining elements of broken beats, hip-hop, soul, and electronica in their music. They first met in Tel Aviv after graduating high school in 2012 and bonded over their shared musical interests. In 2020, they started collaborating with other musicians from the Berlin music scene, such as Sedric Perry, Mike Nasa, Noah Slee, Meron, K.ZIA, Rodes Rollins, as well as artists from other countries. With this new release, they collaborated with a fellow Berlin artist named MERON. The song was created during a conversation between YUPHORIC and MERON and came really naturally. After a busy week of writing sessions, the artists discussed the challenges of pursuing a career in music despite skepticism from others, leading to ‘MOM’S Song’.
