Leeds-based alternative indie band Fools Arcade return with their new EP Somewhere In Between, released Wednesday 14 January 2026 – marking both a defining release for the band and their win as Music Gateway’s Breakout Giveaway recipients.
The four-track EP; All She Wants, The Fear and The Fall, The Buzz and So Much Time, explores the emotional grey areas of everyday life, capturing the tension between certainty and doubt, connection and distance. Rooted in real experiences, the project embraces complexity rather than offering neat resolutions.
Recorded with Dominic Bennison in Garforth, Leeds, the EP was shaped through a collaborative, detail-driven process that allowed each track to develop from its own starting point while maintaining a cohesive sound.
Following strong responses to previous singles and growing momentum on the live circuit, Somewhere In Between sees Fools Arcade confidently stepping into their next chapter.
