Blind Uncle Harry is an independent recording artist based in Bloomington, Indiana and brings his own, unique version of folk rock. Blind Uncle Harry actually got the name from his Great Uncle Harry who was blind and played the fiddle. Since that moment, Blind Uncle Harry has paved his own lane musically by going against conventional standards each and every time.
“Shambala Warrior” is the eighth single off the album ‘Courage To Love’. This cut has deep meaning and special significance as Blind Uncle Harry explains: “There’s a Tibetan Buddhist prophecy that when the world is in danger of destruction, there will emerge Shambhala Warriors, who will bring healing and positive change through compassion and insight. It’s part of the Bodhisattva tradition- individuals who have achieved enlightenment but choose to be reborn to help others achieve it. I’ve met a few people who I truly believe are Bodhisattvas, and I was lucky enough to know one of them and I wrote this song for her.” With the groundwork laid out now, just sit back, relax and let the man of the hour Blind Uncle Harry roll on with “Shambala Warrior”.
As soon as I hit play, I am hit with an exotic vibe and solid melody and harmony. The strong lyrics really pack a punch as you can tell this song means a lot to Blind Uncle Harry. “Shambala Warrior” has a mighty spirit and powerful presence musically. Blind Uncle Harry is really in the zone and feeling it here as he plays and sings like a fighting champion. “Shambala Warrior” is well-written and spiritual to the core making this cut a must listen. Blind Uncle Harry should be very proud of this composition because it has rich substance, heart and feeling. You can also enjoy the official music video for “Shambala Warrior” right here:
