Camryn Adele Portagallo releases new EP, Have a Nice Fall

Produced by Battle Mountain Sound, in the foothills of Sequoia Forest, Camryn Adele Portagallo has released her glorious new EP, ‘Have A Nice Fall’. Made up of ‘My Time’, ‘Protector’, ‘Song For Water’ and title track ‘Have A Nice Fall’, the EP oozes class and carefully crafted songwriting, made up largely of strings, piano, acoustic guitar and vocals. This stripped-back four-track is a stunning achievement for Camryn, originally hailing from just outside of NYC, from an Italian-American family.

Discussing the EP, Camryn says, “Have A Nice Fall is a memento of living; living in a way is a series of many moments where we ‘fall from grace’ – facing hundreds of endings and beginnings; time that effortlessly slips away; life, limitless in its discovery. I gathered my own curiosities in Have A Nice Fall, the parts of me that are constant reckonings, what I find the most inevitable, special parts of being alive even when they are confusing and uncomfortable. The songs in Have A Nice Fall, ultimately became an emblem of embracing a life and world that is all at once so difficult to understand, yet deeply intuitively known.”

Now based in California’s Sierra Nevada, the EP concludes a body of work dating back to 2023, diving into themes of identity and soul. Camryn Adele Portagallo is taking her glorious project on the road, up next at Esalen Institute’s Wednesday Night Music Series in September.
