Canned Pineapple returns with fizzer ‘Little Things’

Brighton’s Canned Pineapple have returned with a new single, ‘Little Things’, showing their love of the 60s as well as garage-rock once again with this fizzing burst of life.

Wasting no time, the track begins, dropping listeners straight into a mix of roaring guitar parts, busy drums, and frenzied vocals. Halfway through, the lightning is back in the bottle as the backdrop is limited to an acoustic guitar, and the vocals are more melancholic. After that short interlude, the band rockets back to life with all of the loose performances and cheeky boisterousness. ‘Little Things’ arrives thick and fast, reflects for a moment and then charges on.

The band shares, “After almost a year since their last release, Canned Pineapple returns with more miles and hours under our belts. ‘Little Things’ is a cut-and-dry sign of what’s to come in a new era of scuzz. Recorded once again with guru, Tom Arthur Rees (The Bug Club, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, Panic Shack), we’ve hit a stride of conviction stronger than ever. Nothing is out of sight for Canned Pineapple in 2026, same rock, different roll.”

Fronted by Cork-born Seán Drury, alongside Oakley Gardiner, Gabe Rice and Charlie Pringle, the quartet have already performed at Truck Festival, Y Not, The Great Escape and more. Further press and radio support from a host of tastemakers has bolstered their reputation as they embark on this new age of Canned Pineapple.
