Van Hughes is a musician, record producer, film score composer, writer and actor living in NYC.
Starting when he was 13, he has performed music around North America for the last 30 years in bands, comedy shows, Broadway, TV and film, most notably starring with Billie Joe Armstrong on Broadway in American Idiot on Broadway and leading the national tour.
He is now starting a solo artist career and has finished his debut album Weird Dreams.
It’s an eclectic journey of 18 art rock tracks, and the first single will be ‘Location,’ think David Byrne meets Beach Boys.
‘Location’ begins with a sparkly intro, which instantly leads to catchy instrumentals, beautiful harmonies and vibrant vocals as Van Hughes craft a truly upbeat and captivating track.
