Suffolk alt-pop riser Loome has revealed another step towards the forthcoming sophomore album YOUFORIA, dropping new single ‘Let U Know’, taken from the project.
Heartfelt from the off, and shortly infectiousness follows suit, it’s got that indie breeziness with pop polish that has become his signature. A warm, easy roll onward, a rhythm section groove with subtle overdrive alongside punchy kicks gives a bouncy nu-disco feel. Above, the vocal delivery is pop purity, with graceful, lush melodies filling the airwaves. Effortless and light, its shimmering production with the Loome emotional melancholy.
Tomas Frankson, the artist behind Loome, shares, “This song is a reminder to myself that you’ve got to grab what you want in life with both hands and not let go. In my case, that was a girl whom I met when I was 18, who now has my second name. I took a snapshot of my life, the songs that soundtracked me meeting my now wife”.
Frankson writes and records Loome from his home studio, forming a DIY sound that has evolved into a refined package over his discography. With the debut album ASTROHEARTS dropping in 2024, it was the culmination of years of radio play, festival appearances and playlist placements. Now, YOUFORIA is the new focus, with the latest single offering another glimpse into the next era of Loome.
