Alisa Shafira is an Indonesian fingerstyle guitarist, violinist, arranger and independent music producer whose work brings together percussive fingerstyle, classical, acoustic-folk and contemporary pop influences.
Her musical journey began through formal violin school, during which she taught herself to play the guitar and gradually developed both instruments as the foundation of her artistic work.
Since beginning her career as a freelance performer, Alisa has worked across solo guitar and violin performances, orchestral settings, music education, arranging, and collaborative projects with musicians and creative communities in Indonesia and abroad.
‘Our Moments’ sees Alisa Shafira conjure up a beautiful and warm sounding guitar arrangement that is a real delight to the ears.
She then introduces a rich sounding violin and outstanding vocals into the mix to create something truly wonderful, as ‘Our Moments’ tells a story about reminiscing moments with everyone in life.
The video moves back and forth in time, mirroring the way memory actually works. The reconnection takes visual form through a young child, symbolizing the inner child we return to as we long for those we’ve lost touch with.
Now that life has found its rhythm again, our moments reflect the feeling of being together once more.
She has performed at embassies, cultural and diplomatic events, national television programs, educational workshops, international showcases, and Indonesia’s Independence Day celebration at the State Palace (Istana Negara).
Her music-related content has collectively reached millions of views online and has been featured by national and international media and music brands.
