Entering fresh territory, The Fever Dreams are back via Running, this time replacing their usual guitar-driven force with seductive rhythms, warm vocals, and fluid percussion. The change reveals another side of the five-piece, underlining their ability to move between styles without losing their identity.
Explaining the meaning behind the song, the band says:
“Running is a song about that moment you realise it’s time to stop running away from your feelings for someone, and face them head-on.”
Following Hairclip Things and Fuel, considerable momentum is being built, with UK and US radio, a huge amount of press support, and sold-out shows across London and their hometown of Southampton.
With Running, The Fever Dreams prove that dialing down the distortion does nothing to diminish their impact.
