Trevor Phelps releases new single ‘Home Now’ ahead of his third album

Home Now is Arkansas native Trevor Phelps’ first release of 2026, and is a nostalgia-packed summer indie-pop classic. With previous support from Apple Music and US and European radio, Home Now is arguably Trevor’s most astute release yet, touching on memories of home.

Discussing the single, and its themes, Home Now is about “my friends, the places we grew up, the routines that once felt permanent, suddenly they all became memories. I started writing these songs because I wanted to capture that feeling as honestly as I could before it faded. That’s what I wanted Home Now to be,” says Trevor.

Festival chorus lines, playful guitar hooks, and astute production foreshadow what looks set to be a compelling hat trick of albums later this year. For fans of Cage The Elephant, Home Now embraces the indie-modernism of the early 2010s, and despite its themes of days gone by, it’s in no way backward-looking. For Trevor Phelps, the future looks bright.
