A new electronic music initiative called After Now is emerging as a major creative hub in Toulouse, France. Founded by producer and musician Gilles Moncaubeig, the project combines a professional recording studio, record label, and event series designed to support both local and international electronic artists.
One of its central ideas is EARLYDANCE, a party concept that shifts away from traditional late-night club schedules. Events run between 9 PM and 2 AM, focusing on high-energy sets during what organisers see as the most engaging hours of the night. The series has already hosted notable names including Henrik Schwarz, with Âme scheduled to perform on March 28 at La Cabane.
After Now also operates a state-of-the-art studio space launched in May 2025, equipped with vintage synthesizers, a Dolby Atmos room, and a DJ booth designed for testing tracks in a club-style environment. The studio hosts writing camps, collaborative sessions, and educational workshops aimed at developing emerging producers.
Completing the platform is the After Now record label, which releases music created through the studio and showcased during EARLYDANCE events, forming a connected ecosystem supporting Toulouse’s growing electronic music scene.
