Music Premiere: The Chelsea Curve Unleashes Electrifying New Album ‘The Rideout’

Music Crowns is proud to premiere The Rideout, the electrifying new album from Boston-based mod-pop trio The Chelsea Curve. Arriving via Rum Bar Records on May 1, 2026, the record finds the band pushing their signature blend of sharp-edged rock and roll, infectious hooks, and timeless mod spirit further than ever before. Equal parts swagger, melody, and momentum, The Rideout captures a band fully locked into their sound and absolutely fearless about where it can take them next.

Since emerging in 2020, The Chelsea Curve, made up of Linda Pardee, Tim Gillis, and Bruce Caporal, have steadily built a reputation as one of the most exciting modern acts carrying the torch for classic mod-pop and power-pop influences. Pulling inspiration from the energy of ‘70s punk, British mod culture, and hook-heavy guitar pop, the trio quickly turned heads with their ambitious 2021 singles project The Singles Scene before making a major statement with their acclaimed debut album All The Things on Red on Red Records. With international press support and regular airplay on SiriusXM’s Underground Garage, the band proved they weren’t simply reviving a sound, they were re-energising it for a new generation.

What truly separates The Chelsea Curve, however, is their undeniable chemistry onstage. From appearances at Boston Calling Music Festival to UK tours and legendary scooter rallies across the United States, the trio have become known for performances that feel both explosive and celebratory. Even after the heartbreaking loss of Red on Red Records founder Justine Covault in 2023, the band continued forward with unwavering determination, doubling down on touring and strengthening their connection with fans through pure live energy and resilience.

That spirit pulses throughout The Rideout. Across seven tracks, the album balances driving rock anthems with moments of warmth and reflection, showcasing a broader and more confident sonic palette. Songs like “Ride” bottle the rush of living completely in the moment, while “Never Come Down” and “Rally ‘Round” expand into soaring, communal sing-alongs built for packed clubs and festival crowds alike. Elsewhere, tracks such as “Kindawanna” and “Outta My Head” deliver the punchy immediacy longtime fans have come to love, all wrapped in crisp production and undeniable melodies.

With The Rideout, The Chelsea Curve continue to honour the roots of mod culture while carving out a distinctly modern identity of their own. Recorded across Boston studios and mastered by Dave Locke at JP Masters in Seattle, the album feels vibrant, urgent, and deeply alive, a testament to a band that refuses to stand still. Music Crowns is proud to premiere this exciting new chapter from The Chelsea Curve, a record that reminds us rock and roll should still make you want to move.

“The Chelsea Curve don’t just make music, they make you move,” music publicist Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR, shared. “With The Rideout, they’ve taken everything fans loved about their debut and turned it up a notch: bigger hooks, wilder energy, and songs that stick in your head long after the last note
