Sophie Bernice described herself as a weird and lonely child, which led to music becoming her greatest friend.
She has been singing since she could talk, and at the age of four began writing her own (questionable) songs.
In her early school years she spent a lot of time alone singing, pretending to be the little mermaid.
Sophie Bernice has just unveiled ‘Loyal Dog,’ which begins with a gentle guitar arrangement that then lead to unique vocals and beautiful harmonies as she conjures up a lyrical and melodic representation of the orange groves that feature in the accompanying visuals.
Today Sophie writes ethereal and honest music shaped by life experiences and inspired by the natural world, spiritual connection and raw human emotion.
